Week 1: Introduction to Lomi-Lomi Massage and Hawaiian Healing Philosophy
Session 1: The Origins and Philosophy of Lomi-Lomi
Introduction to the cultural and spiritual roots of Lomi-Lomi.
Overview of "mana" (life energy) and its role in Hawaiian healing traditions.
Session 2: Body Mechanics and Techniques Overview
Learning the foundation of using forearms, hands, and elbows.
Practicing continuous flow, rhythm, and the importance of body mechanics.
Week 2: Basic Lomi-Lomi Techniques and Flow
Session 3: Forearm and Hand Techniques
Practicing long, sweeping strokes for whole-body relaxation.
Emphasis on movement, flow, and the therapeutic intention behind each stroke.
Session 4: Integration of Breathing and Intention
Incorporating breath and rhythm to connect with clients and deepen relaxation.
Practical work on syncing breath with the flow of massage movements.
Week 3: Full-Body Lomi-Lomi Techniques and Energy Flow
Session 5: Back, Shoulders, and Neck Techniques
Techniques for releasing tension in the back and shoulders.
Using forearms and palms to create fluid, soothing movements.
Session 6: Arms, Hands, and Lower Body
Working on the arms, legs, and hands with gentle, flowing strokes.
Focusing on client comfort, draping, and fluidity between body areas.
Week 4: Practice and Application of Full Lomi-Lomi Session
Session 7: Creating a Full Lomi-Lomi Massage Experience
Combining upper and lower body techniques into a seamless session.
Emphasis on rhythm, flow, and maintaining connection with the client.
Session 8: Final Practice and Assessment
Full Lomi-Lomi massage practice under instructor guidance.

Course Requirements:
Prior massage experience is recommended but not mandatory.
Comfortable, loose clothing for ease of movement.
Students should bring a massage table, towels, and a soft blanket for client draping.
Certification: Upon completing the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion in Lomi-Lomi Massage, recognizing their foundational skills and understanding of this ancient healing art.
