My Journey as a Massage Therapist First and foremost, I consider myself a simple woman with a passion for healing. I started my journey as a massage therapist at the young age of 18, working in a massage clinic. Despite challenges and criticism—like being told I wasn't good at handling clients—I never gave up. I held onto the belief that one day, I could become a renowned massage therapist, not just in my community but perhaps even globally. I continued to practice, honing different techniques and learning traditional healing methods.
My dedication paid off when our government offered a FREE training program through TESDA for massage therapy. I was thrilled to join and learn more about this craft that I loved so much. During the training, I realized that massage therapy is not just about relaxation—it's a holistic process that heals both the body and mind. Earning my certification as a massage therapist was no small feat.
It required confidence, motivation, skills, knowledge, and the right attitude. As a professional therapist, my goal is to share this passion with my country and show the world that therapeutic massage is more than a job for me—it's my dedication and calling. I aim to expand my wings and compete on an international level, sharing the gift of healing with others.
