Mary Cris Mahino, a highly skilled and passionate massage therapist, will proudly represent the Philippines at the prestigious World Massage Championship Competition (WMCC) 2025. Set to take place on March 1-2, 2025, at The Grassroots' Club in Singapore, this event will gather top massage professionals from around the world to compete in a celebration of skill, innovation, and wellness.
Mary Cris Mahino has dedicated her career to perfecting the art of massage therapy. With years of experience and a deep commitment to helping others achieve holistic wellness, she has become a shining example of the Filipino spirit in the global wellness community. Her expertise spans multiple modalities, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and traditional Filipino hilot, blending ancient practices with modern techniques.
Her journey to the WMCC has been marked by consistent excellence and a passion for learning. Participating in local and national competitions, Mary Cris has continuously proven her ability to deliver therapeutic results with precision and care.
As Mary Cris takes the global stage, she carries the rich heritage of Filipino healing traditions. The Philippines is renowned for its unique approach to massage therapy, rooted in intuitive touch and a deep understanding of the human body’s energy flow. By incorporating traditional techniques such as hilot, she aims to highlight the therapeutic value of these time-honored practices to a global audience.

My Journey as a Massage Therapist On December 18, 2024, I achieved a significant milestone by earning my Department of Health Licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist. In the same month, I also obtained certifications in Hilot Wellness and TESDA Massage Therapy NC II, completing rigorous training at Hagod and Milestone. I am new to Massage Industry but these achievements reflect my commitment to offering exceptional care through massage therapy, which is not just about relaxation but also healing and rejuvenation.
Beyond personal growth, my vision includes launching a community outreach program in my home province someday, spreading the benefits of wellness to those who may not have access to it. I believe in the power of sharing knowledge and healing, which can truly uplift lives. Participating in this global competition is already a victory in itself. It’s more than just about the title—it's an invaluable opportunity to grow, learn, and deepen my passion for massage therapy.
Through attending workshops and seminars, I’m gaining new insights, and the chance to engage with expert judges and peers who share the same passion is truly enriching. This journey is about growth, learning, and celebrating the art and science of healing. It’s the essence of what I believe in and what matters most to me—improving my skills, expanding my knowledge, and contributing to the world of wellness. Winning would be wonderful, but the process itself is what truly makes this experience meaningful.
